King’s Academy dropped a nail bitter to Apple Springs in their season opener this evening. The Knights were paced by Senior Captain Christian Fajardo’s 84 rushing yards, and 3 rushing touchdowns. Chris Jimmerson contributed 92 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 70 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns.
Senior quarterback Koleson Sutsch threw for 215 yards, 3 touchdowns, and one interception. Junior tight end Andrew McCuistion had 73 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. Junior fullback Jakyree Trigg has 3 rushing touchdowns.
The Knights play at Longview Trinity next week.
